Travel
Details of travel arrangements can be found on this page, buses leave from Easy Street at the stated time. Buses will leave promptly - please be on time. Check back regularly as changes sometimes occur.
From the start of the 2010/2011 season the arrangements for buses returning from the Stadium of Light will be:
Bus Number 1 - is for members of the branch, who are elderly, have walking difficulties or medical conditions and families with young children only. This bus must leave the stadium as soon as the barrier in the car park is raised. Anyone traveling on that bus must be back on the bus promptly after the match.
Bus Number 2 - will leave Dundas Street as soon as practical after passengers are back on board.
Bus Number 3 - will leave Dundas Street at 6.30pm, allowing anyone traveling on this bus to have a drink after the match.
This applies to 3pm k.o - departure times for earlier kick-off times will be advised when full details are known.For home travel, tickets for the buses to the Stadium must be purchased at least 15 minutes before the bus departure time. These are available in the lounge at the Relton prior to each home match. A valid membership card must be shown to qualify for members rates on the buses.
